On October 28th, 2015 our FFA Officers along with 3 other members had the opportunity to pack their bags and headed South to Louisville, Kentucky for National FFA Convention. Our first stop in Louisville was at Churchill Downs, then shortly after that we changed into our official dress and head to the opening session of 2015 National FFA Convention. Then later that evening we went to get freshened up to go to our final event for the first evening, the Jake Owen and Maddie & Tae concert.  The rest of our time in Louisville was well spent from looking at colleges at career show to some of usfacing our fears as a group zip lining! All together our trip to National Convention was a success and we headed back home on the 30th with a lot of great memories made!

On September 25th, 2015 with the help of Scott State Bank we held a Farmer Appreciation Luncheon at the Heritage Grain Elevator in Bethany, IL. FFA officers took this day off school to feed and interact with community members and local farmers.  We also took this time to let farmers know that we would be holding  a Grain Donation Week from September 29th to October 3rd.

Our new officers for the 2015-2016 school year!
